Take dogs on a field trip within La Plata County. A minimum of 3 months of regular volunteering is required before enrolling in this program. Must have own transportation, a valid driver's license and appropriate insurance. Must a Buddy Day Pass from LPCHS supervisor, manager, or the volunteer coordinator.
Possible places to go:
- Walk dogs in downtown Durango to get them public exposure
- Take a dog out for a drive, go for a hike, or go to different businesses
- No off leash activities and no water activities, like rivers, lakes, ponds, etc.
