This event happens once a month. Mutts in the Mountain could be canceled depending on the dogs, the amount of participation from volunteers, or weather. Volunteers will be notified by email ASAP if the event is canceled.
Volunteers can:
- Take dogs on a hike with a small group of other hikers
- Dogs have to be approved by the Behavior department before they can go out for the trip
- Volunteers must have their own transportation, valid driver's license, and have appropriate insurance to participate
